Reconstructed 1983 New York disco courtesy of London’s very own, Machine Disco. A collaboration between friends; From Beyond & Edgar Blanco extend and tighten disco breaks, strip down middle eights and generally bring a tighter, well-oiled and streamlined sensibility to this Discothèque Credits release. Already two EPs deep on premier nu-disco label Paper Disco, From Beyond has spent the last few years perfecting his brand of acidic, spaced-out disco-house, taking cues from Norwegian contemporaries while injecting flavours of '80s Italo, electro-funk and synth-pop. Edgar Blanco meanwhile has been keeping busy crafting the occasional re-edit - igniting the attention of a wave of DJs including Derek Kaye, Fingerman, Peza and Alkalino.
